Trust & Privacy
Somewhere right now, someone is nervous before an interview — wondering if an algorithm will size them up before a person ever does. Somewhere else, a hiring manager is staring at a hundred applications, hoping the next hire isn't a six-month mistake. Hiring sits at the center of real lives — rent, identity, the next five years. A platform that touches that shouldn't ask you to trust it blindly.
A human always makes the hiring decision.
Here's exactly how — what our AI does, what it doesn't, what we collect, who sees it, and what happens the moment you ask us to stop.
01 — Inside the AI
What our AI actually does — and doesn't
RiseYou's AI doesn't decide who gets hired. It produces four specific outputs, and nothing more, for a person to actually look at:
Match score
Compares your experience and skills against what the role actually requires.
Language proficiency rating
Based on vocabulary, coherence, and grammar — not accent or background.
Confidence & communication score
Derived from speech pace, tone, and fluency.
Structured interview summary
Key answers laid out for a person to actually read, not a black-box verdict.
Every one of those four is decision support, not a decision. By law — GDPR Article 22 — and by design, no RiseYou job seeker is rejected by an algorithm alone. A human employer reviews the full profile first. If you ever believe an assessment was wrong, you can ask for a human review directly, no exceptions.
Bias and fairness
We audit our models regularly for demographic bias. They're built to score job-relevant competence — communication, skills, experience — not to make inferences about age, gender, ethnicity, or anything else that has nothing to do with the role.
02 — Your Data, By the Numbers
Exactly how long we keep things
Not "a while." Real numbers, for every category of data we hold:
Request deletion any time at legal@riseyou.ai — we act within 30 days, within what the law requires us to keep.
03 — Who's Actually Looking
Four people can see your interview. Not one more.
You, the job seeker — any time you ask for it.
The employer's authorized team members, for that specific job only.
RiseYou staff, only when support or legal compliance requires it.
No one else. No advertisers. No data brokers. Ever.
04 — Your Rights, Not Buried in a PDF

05 — Where We Draw the Line
What RiseYou will never do
Let an algorithm reject you without a human reviewing your full profile first.
Sell your data — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
Share your interview recording with anyone but the employer you applied to.
Publish a claim on this page we can't actually back up.
06 — Who's Actually Behind This
Not a faceless company — a small team you can actually reach
RiseYou LLC was founded in March 2025 in Longview, Texas — bootstrapped and personally funded, with no outside investors making calls about what happens to your data. If something feels wrong, you're not shouting into a support queue owned by a conglomerate.
